Dad: Asher, why is Liam crying?

Asher: Because he said I couldn't catch him, but I took a short cut and I
caught him.

Dad: Did you hurt him?

Asher: Uhm... not much.

Dad: Sigh.

Yesterday morning I took Asher on a tour of the local rivers that are gently flooding. His observations were quite 5-year-oldish, like "ooo, that's a lot of water." He assured me that his fuzzy bear would keep people out of harm's way, even his brother Liam. He's a great kid!!!
