At Home Dad Convention 2007

One of the greatest things I've found in being an At-Home Dad is the National At Home Dad Convention. I've never played harder with any group than I play with these guys.

I got together with about 60 other dads from around the country and discussed things like anger management, disciplining and potty-training 2-5 year olds, current academic research on At-Home Dad's, and estate planning for your family.

Beyond the practical content, though, I spent hours long into the nights laughing and talking with these guys over beer and Kansas City BBQ.

I asked Liam, one of my favorite dads and always the life of a party if he was coming to the convention next year in Sacramento. He said, "Hell yes! I'd come if it were in Iraq!"

I look forward to hanging out next year with these guys who are redefining what it means to be masculine and provide for your family.

Looks like you guys had a great time. What did you discuss?

Disregard my question. I'm an idiot.

I was hoping to make it the convention in KC, but wasn't able to get there.
I hope to make it next year.
Sounds like a good time.
