This morning I emailed the first draft of my project to my editor. It is a strange feeling to let a project that big out of my hands. It is only 165 pages, but it felt like 250.
Well done, Bill! I remember putting together 110 pages, and it was bloody stressful. Do you have to expand the project or only refine it after review?
Thanks NJT. I don't have to expand it. The length requirements are 125-175 pages. I expect I will have to approve and make changes with the feedback of my style editor. We will submit it to my content reader. This is my formal submission. He can approve it, approve it with corrections, approve it with rewrite or not approve it(though they have already approved my proposal, introduction and first chapter, so that last option is almost impossible.)
Congratulations, Bill, on the submission of this final project. You are most likely to get it back with mark-ups for revision. It is a little late for rejection, since they have already approved so much of it. I had that experience with Mack Goldsmith, my thesis mentor. I felt really blessed, as I had to only do one revision. He was known for multiple revisions. My guess is that you will get specific changes that will make the next version the final. What are you doing with your spare time now?
