Lost my iPhone for a day. It was not so hard to be without it. It was hard to accept that I would have to cough up $400 to replace it. Tracy found it tonight in Asher's room. Apparently it fell off the holster when I was putting Asher to bed last night.
I am thankful it is back. I wouldn't mind having a break from it. I am glad I do not have to buy another one.
So you didn't get the typical shakes and shortness of breath... thats a good sign. You are one of the strong.
I instinctively checked my pocket when I read this. Still there.
We're going to Door Cty, WI, for a weekend coming up soon, and I'm fairly sure my G1 will be pretty much a brick except for when we go into town. We'll see how I do.
I haven't been anywhere that didn't have edge network yet. But then again, I haven't taken the phone to Door County. There are cool things to see and do there. Would be nice to have a smart phone to guide you around. Just have to break down and ask friendly people. A somewhat limited filter of information.
Bret, no, I didn't have any withdrawls, but the peace and creativity was ruined by trying to find the phone to avoid the $400 replacement fee. We shall see how and when the tech sabbath plays into my life going forward.
Glad you found your phone, it's way more fun than Chuck's G1 that I'm sending this comment from... Ok, his keyboard may be a bit cooler, but that's it!!
Funny how much we DON'T miss so many of these types of things when they go missing for a day or so. We just lament the money we spent on them...
;)
