Looking back toward the front door, you would have seen a little more of the foyer.  You can see a faint reflection of me on the right. That's a glass door.  I have to open two doors to enter my apartment. The apartment was once used as an Art Gallery.  They added the glass door to make a business entry.

You see my shoes scattered on the floor.  I don't generally wear shoes in my apartment.  I usually have them piled up against the counter on the left in front of the refrigerator.

You see on the left the entry to my "kitchenette".  I'd never heard that word before I came to Japan.  As you will see in the next picture... it's not big.
